Introduced in 1947, ‘Gibraltar’ is an extremely reliable cold hardy Exbury Azalea that displays large clusters or lightly fragrant glowing tangerine-orange to deep orange flowers with exquisitely ruffled petals that light up the garden in mid to late spring, depending on your location. A loyal and gorgeous deciduous Rhododendron that puts on an absolutely stunning color display in the spring garden!
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 6 to 8 feet tall and 4 to 5 feet wide, the Gibraltar Azalea is a ideal for use as a specimen or in groupings in partially shaded landscape borders, home foundation plants and woodland borders.
