The plant I ordered arrived well packaged. Shrub was securely fastened in well constructed carton. It looked like it had been freshly dug, not taken from a root bound container. Roots were wet. I had searched all over to find this bush, and was so happy to have discovered Wilson Bros. It arrived in great condition and was packed extremely well. Some of the leaves had a few brown spots on them, but the package enclosure had stated this was normal due to it being the end of the summer, etc. It has been in the ground for a few weeks now and it is looking good. It has started to lose its leaves since due to the time of year. I am looking forward to seeing it come back next year.———————————————————–Thanks for the great review! I rarely write reviews but I wanted to share my recent experience with my Wilson Brothers shipment. I was shocked when I opened the box — both the size and the quality of the shrub were outstanding. I prefer to purchase plant material in person but when particular items are not available I have to turn to online ordering which can lead to small, puny plants that are disappointing. But not so with Wilson Brothers. I received a very healthy plant that quickly adjusted to my garden. I can’t compliment your company enough. This was my first online purchase from the Wilson Brothers. I bought from mail order nurseries in the past and I am always skeptical as to how the product will be. Well not so with the Wilson brothers. The Bottlebrush Buckeyes arrived in excellent shape and of good size. They were packed well and still moist. Also there was no damage to the plant and these were 5 gallon pots. I planted them the same day. They are doing well.
I was so impressed I ordered 3 Red Buckeyes to replace a large sugar tyme crabapple I recently lost. They to arrived in perfect condition. This company has a wide selection of hard to get plants.
